Campaign Story

Aggeliki is a 45-year-old woman who is suffering from multiple sclerosis. It all started 25 years ago, when the young woman started to experience vision problems. She then consulted her ophthalmologist, who referred her to a neurologist and after a series of blood work and imaging tests, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. When Aggeliki received this diagnosis, she was devastated. After all, she was only 20 years old. However, she didn’t lose hope. She followed the neurologist’s instructions and she immediately began taking the prescribed medication. As years went by however, her condition started to gradually deteriorate.  

Today, Aggeliki is being confined to a bed. She now requires a care-taker 24 hours a day, as well as a variety of expendable supplies for her daily care, since she is unable to fend for herself. Unfortunately, Aggeliki is unable to cope with the ever-increasing medical expenses, since she cannot longer work.  

Aggeliki is going through a hard time and she needs our support. Let us join forces in order to facilitate her struggle and to improve her quality of life. Together, we can make it happen!
